Leucorrhoea, also known as leukorrhea or vaginal discharge, refers to a condition in which there is an abnormal and excessive white or yellowish discharge from the female genital tract. This condition can be caused by various factors, including infections, hormonal changes, or other underlying medical issues. Symptoms of leucorrhoea may include:

  1. Vaginal discharge: The most common symptom of leucorrhoea is an increased vaginal discharge. The discharge is typically white or yellowish and may be thick or thin in consistency.

  2. Itching or irritation: Some women may experience itching or irritation in the genital area due to the constant moisture and discharge.

  3. Foul odor: The discharge may have an unpleasant or foul odor, which can be a sign of infection.

  4. Discomfort or pain: In some cases, leucorrhoea may be accompanied by discomfort or pain in the lower abdomen or pelvic region.

  5. Redness or swelling: The genital area may become red or swollen in response to the irritation caused by the discharge.

It’s important to note that while leucorrhoea can occur for various reasons, it can sometimes be a symptom of an underlying medical condition, such as a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, or a sexually transmitted infection. If you are experiencing persistent or bothersome leucorrhoea, it is advisable to consult a homoeopathic physician  for a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause of the condition.
